Homorod commune’s tourist information and promotion center has a mission to promote cultural, historical, economic and social values of the local community in hope that the activity in tourism will develop.
Homorod commune’s tourist information and promotion centers tasks are to:
- Inform tourists about the local objectives, possibilities of spending leisure time, participate in cultural, traditional, sport and educational events organized by the commune
- Facilitate access for those who are interested in the area by providing useful information about the possibilities of transportation, accommodation, catering, and entertainment networks in the area
- Distribute free presentation materials for all those who are interested in local and regional sightseeing
- Permanently update the information presented through its site or printed material
- Host or organize events with interested partners or symposiums, create presentations to increase the visibility of the area and the number of tourists
- Transmit information to travel agencies and other units in the field
